Met Gala 2019 – The Best Costumes On The Red Carpet!
For this 2019 edition, Met Gala’s costume exhibition was entitled; Camp: Notes On Fashion. But why such a name? The theme was actually inspired by Susan Sontag’s 1964 essay, defining camp as the love of the unnatural… love for exaggeration! And we surely did have a whole load of exaggeration on the red carpet. Here are those who managed to keep up the trend while becoming the stars amongst the “galactic” show!
Lady Gaga – When One Dress Is Too Mainstream!
The Camp theme was created for Lady Gaga! She didn’t resort to any meat dress this time… Mother Monster preferred being the extra in extravagant with four Brandon Maxwell dresses!
